The Azerbaijani state customs committee transferred 544.5 million manat to state budget in January-May compared to forecasted 544 million manat, the committee said on June 1.
Incomings of customs taxes and duties collection increased 80.87 million manat or 17.44 percent compared to the same period of 2008.
Forecast was fulfilled on 100.09 percent.
The Azerbaijani state customs committee conducted trade operations with 116 world countries in January-April. Export operations of the country reduced 8.31 percent or $0.32 million by the same period of 2008 and hit $3.53 billion within this period. Import reduced 6.5 percent or $0.107 million and hit $1.81 billion. Total volume of turnover hit $5.35 billion. Roughly 1,130 kinds of goods were exported from Azerbaijan in January-April but 4,510 kinds were imported in the country.
On June 1, the official exchange rate is 0.8035 manat to $1.
