On June 3, the Minister of Taxes of Azerbaijan Fazil Mammadov and Ambassador of Korea to the country, Liu Kwang-Chul, discussed the activities of Korean companies in the territory of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Taxes said.
The Ambassador said that Korea displays an interest in Azerbaijan, and the Korean companies consider Azerbaijan attractive for investments. Korean business brings not only capital, but also new technologies, as well as experience in development. Noting the great potential in the development of bilateral relations, the diplomat expressed hope for further development of the relations.
According to the Minister, now there is a comprehensive legal framework covering various sphere of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Korea, and it creates a ground for the expansion of economic relations between the two countries. He also highlighted existence of favorable conditions in the country for investments, encouraging the Korean business circles to the successful implementation of investment plans.
