In April, prices in the first market of housing Baku fell 1.9 percent and reached $987 dollars per square meters compared to $1,006 in March, the Property Market public organization said.
The average size of apartments in new buildings in Baku rose by 0.4 percent up to 121.7 square meters. The average indicator increased from 2.2 to 2.4 and the average floor rate was 15.1.
In April, construction of 178 buildings by 454 construction companies was continued compared to 461 buildings and 189 companies in March. Construction and sale of apartments in 10 buildings was completed and three buildings entered the market.
In April, a greater number of new buildings continued to be built in Khatai (20.3 percent), Nasimi (18.7 percent) and Yasamal district of Baku (23.3 percent), which accounted for 62.3 percent of total portfolio of the first housing market.
