Azerbaijan Appraisers Society together with the ministry of finance and the international finance corporation conduct courses and workshops for brokers, the society said on June 9.
"Workshops and courses are held to form civilized market of property, accordance of estimation activity with international standards and preparation of professional brokers," the society said.
Both local and international specialists will hold courses. Examinations for specialists passing courses will be held on June 17-19.
"Brokers will get international certificates for estimation activity after successful passing the examinations," the society said.
Three brokers passed pilot certification of estimation activity in Azerbaijan. Elchin Samedli (estimation company Bilender), Anver Samigulin (Azintelectservis) and Nusret Ibrahimov (MBA Group) passed certificates on qualitative estimation services.
First certification of brokers is held in Azerbaijan. Pilot examination was held within international finance corporation program to improve dwelling financing in Azerbaijan and Central Asia together with international center of estimation and Azerbaijan Appraisers Society.
Nine brokers of 16 were admitted to the first examination. Examinations were held in two stages, including written and oral.
Estimation activity is regulated by law Estimation activity adopted in Azerbaijan in 1995.
