The state bank for foreign economic activity of Turkmenistan will get grant in the amount of 198,000 Islamic dinar from Islamic Development Bank on behalf of the government, the official Turkmen source said.
These funds will allow financing the project Potentialities of research of silicon photoelectric transformers production of scientific-production union Sun under the Turkmen Academy of Sciences.
As it is known, silicon is major element used while making sunny photoelectric transformers, so-called sunny batteries. Sand can be used as raw material. Employees of Sun union must clear up in the nearest future whether Karakum sand suits for making technical silicon, local media said. It is planned to design technology for its clearing from different admixtures and create equipment to get sand of silicon.
