Turkish entrepreneurs operating in European Union (EU) had a total annual turnover of 45.4 billion euros, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported Monday.
The number of Turkish-owned businesses in EU reached 131,000, with 496,000 people employed and 115 sectors covered, the report said, citing a survey by the Turkish German Educational and Scientific Research Foundation (TAVAK) published Monday, Xinhua reported.
With the current growth rate, the number of Turkish entrepreneurs in EU was expected to reach 190,000 by 2020, providing jobs for 1 million people, according to the report. Enditem
