Next facts of consumer rights violation revealed in Azerbaijan

The State Control Service for Consumer Market of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development conducted next monitoring, withdrew and liquidated 100 kilogram of expired products, the ministry said on July 27.

The State Control Service for Consumer Market of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development conducted next monitoring, withdrew and liquidated 100 kilogram of expired products, the ministry said on July 27.  

Monitoring was held in Nasimi, Narimanov, Khatai regions of Baku.

Expired products, including sausages and confectionery, milk and milk products, mayonnaise, vegetable oil, beer, etc. were withdrawn from shops in these regions of Baku.

Protocols on administrative violations were drawn up towards 1 legal and five physical entities.

Roughly 37 legal entities were fined to the amount of 144,500 manat and 217 physical entities - for 326,000 manat after Azerbaijani President's decree on making changes and additions to administrative violations code dated May 17.

Monitoring continues.    

On July 27, the official exchange rate is 0.8041 manat to $1.
