Georgia, Tbilisi, August 21 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /
Georgia has coped thanks to $3.7 billion (82 percent) of 4.5 billion donor aid provided by the international community, Georgian Prime-Minister, Nika Gilauri, said on August 21 summarizing the results of six months work.
Donors allocated $4.5 billion for Georgia to solve social and economic problems after the August war of the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict. A certain amount of this money was allocated to people injured during the conflict in August 2008.
"Projects worth $3.7 billion are either being carried out or being assigned according to a concrete plan. This is very positive factor since such donor aid has been given to other countries in vain," Gilauri said.
