The world class "Radisson SAS Iveria" Hotel is opening in Tbilisi on September 2. Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili will participate in the opening ceremony.

According to the hotel's management, guests will be offered discounts during the first week encouraging them to stay. A double room with a meal and cocktail will cost $240.

After the initial deal, a room in the hotel will vary between $280-700.

The Georgian company the "Silk Road Group" invested $90 million in the construction of the "Radisson" Hotel. The company "Development Solution" managed the construction.

The Hotel 'Iberia', which was transformed into "Radisson SAS Iveria", was a place of settlement of refugees from Abkhazia for many years. All the hotel rooms were purchased after the current leadership came to power. Now another symbol of a new path for modern Georgia's development has appeared in the center of Tbilisi.
