The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry divulged on-line data on outcomes of 10 insurance companies' activities to which belong 84.5 percent of the total insurance collections and 84.9 percent of the total payments in January-July, 2009.

Xalg Sigorta led the ranking on the volume of insurance collections, while Azal Sigorta led in the previous months and the biggest payment was carried out by AzeriSigorta state commercial insurance company, as last month.
Volume of the insurance market's premiums totaled 113.02 million manats. The insurance companies paid off 29.19 million manats. The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry did not indicate the activity of the only reinsurance company AzRe for January-July in the report.
On Sept. 8, the official exchange rate is 0.8037 manat to $1.
