Foreign investor to renovate Mazandaran Textile Factory

A member of the Majlis (parliament) Industry and Mines Committee stated that a Turkish investor has agreed to entirely renovate Mazandaran Textile Factory.

Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency (IRINN) quoted Ezzatollah Akbari citing this act as a successful example of foreign investments in Iran.

He said that according to the deal not only will none of the workers be laid off, but also another 5,000 workforce will be added to the existing 1,000.

Akbari pointed out the products of the factory will be used in for both domestic and international markets.

He advised those who disapprove of the renovation of Mazandaran Textile factory by a Turkish entity not to interfere in issues resulting in national prosperity under the pretext of criticizing the government.

He expressed the Majlis committee's readiness to support investors who want to renovate textile factories all around the country.
