Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, Sept. 26 / Trend , H.Hasanov/

Turkmenistan plans sign a contract with the American Case New Holland, International SA to buy agricultural equipment for the country's agricultural sector, said the official Turkmen sources.

Demand on the Turkmen market is growing thanks to the fundamental reforms implemented in the agriculture of the country, and use of virgin lands.

The Turkmen President, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has made this request to the President of the company Franco Fusignani at a meeting in New York (US). The sides also touched on aspects of service, repair and expansion of facilities and training of qualified personnel.

It is expected to discuss the details of the new agreement in Ashgabat in November during the agricultural forum which was attended by the leaders of the American company.

Case has launched its activities in Turkmenistan since 1990s. Noting Case's intense interest in building cooperation, Fusignani reported on steps taken in the light of earlier agreements. According to the businessman, the agricultural machinery delivered to Turkmenistan is pre-tested and fully meets the geographical and soil and climatic conditions of the country.
