Some 9 million tons of goods worth $4.7 billion have been exported in the six-month period ended September 22 through southern port in Bushehr Province, indicating an increase of 23 percent in comparison to the previous year's figure.
Some 870,000 tons of goods worth $927 million have also been imported through the province's customs for the same period, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting reported.
Petrochemicals, iron, steel and fruits were the major exports while electronic products, sedans and agricultural machines were the major imports.
