One of the priorities of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA) in 2010 will be to hold the II International Azerbaijan Insurance Forum, said Azar Aliyev, the Chairman of AIA and Board of Atesgah Insurance Company.
"The chances of holding the second forum in 2010 are great," said Aliyev.
He said this year the AIA was unable to hold the promised forum because of the global financial crisis.
"Next year we will try to continue this tradition," said Aliyev.
The Azerbaijani Insurers Association was established in December 2006. The association includes all operating insurers. Supervision council of the organization includes five insurance companies of Azerbaijan - MBASK, Standard Insurance, the International Insurance Company, Azersigorta, Ateshgah.
There are 28 insurance and one reinsurance company in Azerbaijan and all of them are members of the AIA.
