An airplane on route from Azerbaijan to Afghanistan that made a crash landing yesterday arrived at its destination, the Azal administration said.
The forced landing was due to problems with the plane's landing gear.
"The problem was with the spring. It was a minor problem. The airplane could have carried on flying, but as fuel consumption would have increased, the airplane landed in Baku," the administration said.
After the landing, the defect was repaired and the plane took off for its destination.
Nine crew members were on board, the Emergency Situations Ministry reported. The plane landed at 19:32 Baku time. No injuries were reported.
