Two new members join the Azerbaijani Microfinance Association in the second half of November, AMFA said.
"New members of the Association are Azerbaijani AmrahBank and Omni Finance non-bank loan organization," the Association said.
Bank Respublika and Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation (SBFIC) joined AMFA in October 2008. The foundation is a consultant of the Loan Guarantee Fund, created by German Development Bank KfW in Azerbaijan.
Roughly 14 of 18 microfinance organizations operating in the country are AMFA members.
At present, AMFA has 28 members (among them 12 banks). According to the results of three quarters AMFA members' joint assets amounted to $3.52 million. The amount of the micro loan portfolio is $393.400.
