Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, January 4 / Trend , G.Hasanov /

In 2010, Turkmenistan plans to achieve low inflation due to the implementation of "reasonable monetary and unified fiscal policy, maintaining a stable rate in relevant to foreign currencies and the stability of regulated prices for socially important goods and services", Turkmen Parliament's committee on economy and social policy said.

The main income of the Turkmen economy will come from natural gas exports. At the last government meeting, President Gurbangulu Berdimuhamedov said that despite the global crisis, Turkmenistan has implemented a number of important investment projects in the field of hydrocarbon exploration and production, strengthened the material-technical base of the fuel and energy complexes.

By the end of the year, Turkmenistan managed to open a new route to China, resume gas supplies to Russia and build an additional pipeline to Iran.

Official Ashgabat also plans to supply Turkmen gas to Europe through the Nabucco project, for which it needs to build a pipeline via the Caspian to Azerbaijan. And finally, this year the commercial development of large Southern Yoloten field will begin.
