Azerbaijani A-Qroup insurance company decreased premiums by 6 percent as a result of 2009, company's chairman Anar Bayramov said today
"The company's premiums made up 7,300,000 manat in 2009 compared to 7,750,000 manat in 2008," Bayramov said
According to Bayramov, premiums reduced, mainly due to reduction of fees for general types of insurance - CASCO, property insurance, insurance of building and construction work. Premiums for health insurance remained at the level of 2008
A-Qroup insurance company offers services on three obligatory and 14 voluntary type of insurance. The company's authorized capital made up 1.55 million manat. In January-November the company collected premiums worth 6 million manat with payments - 4.09 million manat
On Jan. 7, the official exchange rate is 0.8030 manat to $1.
