The largest cement project in Iran will be inaugurated on Wednesday in Khuzestan Cement Company, southwestern Iran.
The project would add 5,500 tons to the country''s cement production capacity, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting reported.
"Some 1,100 billion rials (around $110 million) plus 39.6 million euro has been invested in the project," IRIB quoted Khuzestan Cement Company''s Managing Director Morteza Lotfi as saying.
With over 2.5 million tons of cement production capacity per year, Khuzestan is among the three biggest cement plants of the country.
