Oleg Krasnozhon, the chairman of the VTB Bank Board (Azerbaijan), was appointed as the representative of the Association of Regional Banks of Russia in Azerbaijan by Association of Regional Banks of Russia President Anatoly Aksakov.
The VTB Group entered the Azerbaijani market in late 2008. VTB-Azerbaijan license № 06/06-634 was issued by the Azerbaijani Central Bank March 11, 2009.
Fifty-one percent of the VTB Bank's shares belong to the Russian VTB Bank and 49 percent to residents of the Azerbaijan Republic.
