The State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) increased base pension of Great Patriotic War veterans in Azerbaijan by 30 manat, head of the SSPF public relations department Elman Babayev said.
The SSPF increased the base pension of Great Patriotic War veterans in accordance with national program on 'prepare and celebration of 65th anniversary of victory in the war of 1941-45' approved by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Babayev, this suggestion was included in the amendments and addition to the law on Labor Pensions
"We completed providing pensions for veterans with addition as of January," Babayev said
The SSPF issued one-time grants worth 150 manat to 5,368 veterans of 1941-45 war
