Statistics Committee: Uzbek population's nominal incomes up by 36.4 percent

The nominal income of the Uzbek population has increased by 36.4 percent and monetary costs and savings by 34.7 percent in 2009, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee reported.

The population's nominal income was mainly spent on consumer goods and rendered services; it was 71.8 percent compared to 74.6 percent in 2008.

About 7.4 percent of the population's incomes were spent on compulsory payments and contributions, the accumulation of savings in deposits, securities and foreign currency purchases.

Total money growth in the population was 2.7 percent in 2009, which is 1.5 percent more compared to 2008.
