Iran exported over 4.1 million tons of iron ore worth around 254 million dollars in the first 11 months of the current year ended February 19.
The amount was 51 percent more than the figure corresponding to the same period last year, the Mehr News Agency reported on Friday.
According to Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, the country's total iron ore output was 23.2 million tons in the mentioned period.
