Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov signed a decree to establish a National Agricultural Institute in the Dashoguz regional center. Former Agriculture Minister Esenmirat Orazgeldiev was appointed rector of the Institute.
"We need to attract the teachers to give young people not only professional knowledge, but also a decent education, to fully ensure the institute's library and the Department of methodical literature and manuals, to resolve all other organizational matters as soon as possible " Berdimuhamedov said before signing the decree.
The Uzbek Agriculture Ministry in cooperation with the Education Ministry were ordered to begin the admission of students to study at the Agriculture Institute beginning with 2010-2011 academic year.
