Azerbaijan registered major hotel - LTD BREEZE HOTEL, the Taxes Ministry said. The authorized capital of the hotel is 177,400 manats. Representative of the hotel is Yusif Guliyev, founders "Krokus Baki" and Elnur Melikzade.
Earlier Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev said that within implementation of the State Program on development of tourism in Azerbaijan for 2010-2014 it is planned to conduct important works given great potential on improvement of the country's tourism sphere. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the approval of the State program on development of tourism in the country for 2010-2014April 6.
"Every year, about 25-50 hotels are built in Azerbaijan. Today 50 hotels' construction is underway. The rate for tourist accommodation in Azerbaijan has increased threefold," the minister said.
Today, the country issued about 300 licenses for the hotel business, further 20 similar appeals are considered. Previously, 50 appeals have been rejected due to non-compliance with the requirements.
"The growing number of hotels in Azerbaijan, both local and worldwide known hotel chains, is an indicator of the attractiveness of the Azerbaijani market" the minister said.
