The first direct flight between Shiraz and London took off from London on June 5 and returned from Shiraz on the 6th.
The flight operates weekly between, the Mehr News Agency reported.
The carrier is a Boeing 747 with a 437 passenger capacity.
Aside from London, Shiraz has 11 other direct international flights to destinations such as Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Kuwait, and Kuala Lumpur.
Another direct international flight to Istanbul will also be established by late June.
