The Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents imposed a ban on the manufacture and sale of 47 types of products in January-May, the committee reported.
"In January-May, the committee's state regional management services monitored the 746 economic entities, of which 353 were monitored by the Baku Regional Office," the committee reported.
The products totaling 211,500 manat did not complied with normative documents. The service also presented requirements for the 119 companies and production in 47 enterprises was banned. The total amount of the fine imposed for the period amounted to 43,500 manat.
The committee's Office for testing food products and certification issued 2,319 certificates for 1,255 enterprises, of which 1,180 certificates - for the production, 1059 - exports and 80 - to implement product batches.
