Azerbaijan mainly exports oil products to CIS countries

In January-May 2010, Azerbaijan imported goods worth $0.763 million or 31.78 percent of the total amount of the country's import from the CIS countries compared to the same period of 2009, the State Customs Committee said.

Grain-crops (12.49 percent of total import), vehicles (9.89 percent), electrical machinery and equipment (12.4 percent) ferrous metallurgy products (10.84 percent) and tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes (11.78 percent), and ferrous metal (11.49)  were imported to Azerbaijan from CIS countries.

The amount of export of Azerbaijani goods to CIS countries hit $8.216 billion (10.05 percent of total export).

Mineral fuels, oil products, bituminous minerals (51.9 percent of total exports), fruits (1.43 percent), animal and vegetable fats (9.31 percent), vessels (21.24 percent) and other were mainly exported to CIS countries.

There is black ink worth $58.214 million with CIS countries on import-export transactions.
