The Azerbaijani State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Economic Development Ministry conducted regular monitoring of the consumer market and destroyed about 360 kilograms of sausage products of the Sehliyali company, as well as dairy products, because during laboratory researches the presence of colon bacillus was revealed, the statement said.
The Service seized 28 kilograms of sausages and 83 kilograms of dairy products from retailers.
Thus, the State Service instructed the company to eliminate 473 kilograms of sausage and milk products, seized from the markets, 64 kilograms of expired materials of unknown origin, 1,250 meters of packaging materials with an indication of expiration date exceeding regulatory requirements, and 450 labels. All products were eliminated.
Investigation is underway against the company for violation of Antimonopoly laws.
