Azerbaijan mainly exports oil products to CIS countries

In January-June 2010, Azerbaijan imported goods worth $0,927 billion or 31.96 percent of the total amount of the country's import from the CIS countries compared to the same period of 2009, the State Customs Committee said 0.

Grain-crops (13.48 percent of total import), vehicles (10.65 percent), electrical machinery and equipment (11.45 percent) ferrous metallurgy products (about 9.72 percent), machinery and mechanical installation (10.84 percent), black metal (7.06 percent) and other products were imported to Azerbaijan from CIS countries.

The amount of export of Azerbaijani goods to CIS countries hit $1,004 billion (9.8 percent of total export).

Mineral fuels, oil products, bituminous minerals (52.45 percent of total exports), animal and vegetable fats (10.21 percent), vessels (17.38 percent) and other were mainly exported to CIS countries.

There is red ink worth $77.155 million with CIS countries on import-export transactions.
