The second international exhibition on innovation in production, saving and optimization of energy, titled Iran Energy Saving Exhibition (IES 2010), kicked off in Tehran on Sunday.
Some 40 domestic and foreign firms from countries such as Turkey, Germany and England have taken part in the event, the Mehr News Agency reported.
The IES 2010 is an important event on promoting the efficient use of energy. It displays the most innovative products and the most advanced technologies within the energy field.
The exhibition is focusing on the East Asian countries, West European states and Middle East countries.
The 2nd Iran International Energy saving exhibition is an ideal opportunity for foreign businesses to develop and expand their activities in Iran.
The fair is also a successful platform for exchanging information and experiences between participating countries.
The exhibition will close on July 22.
