Georiga's GDP growth will reach 7-8 percent in 2011, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said at a government meeting in Kvareli July 20.
He said the figure will vary from 4 to 5 percent in 2010.
"This is good because we managed without any tragic losses to survive the global economic crisis, which suspended our development," Saakashvili said.
"After a year, we will return to the pre-crisis figures, and begin to implement our idea of becoming a European Singapore," he added.
The president stressed that the annual inflation rate will reach 5.7 percent.
