The total amount of premiums collected by insurance company A-QROUP for the first half amounted to 5,024,059 manat. It is more than 6 percent compared to 2009, a statement said.
"Traditionally, A-QROUP's major part of total revenue falls to the voluntary medical insurance.
Premiums for this type of insurance totaled 4,788 945 manat," the message said.
Significant growth is observed on general insurance. Thus, the amount of premiums for property insurance increased by 80 percent.
A-QROUP made payments amounting to 2,854,399 manat in the first half of 2010. It is 40 percent more than the same period of 2009. It should be noted that as of July 1, 2010, the authorized capital stock is 2.65 million manat.
