Jamshid Noorsalehi said that the project is part of the Mehr national housing plan. He pointed out that the firms are from Turkey and South Korea. Meanwhile, talks are to be started with a Swiss firm this week. The Iranian official added that there had been no offers from American or Canadian countries yet, but he did not deny that Iranian firms could possibly be in negotiations with companies from these countries, according to the Mehr news agency. Turkish Public Works and Housing Minister Mustafa Demir said in July that Turkey and Iran could cooperate in the sector of construction and work on joint projects.
