Prices for construction works in Azerbaijan in the second quarter increased by three percent compared to the first quarter, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
During this period cost of ground operations increased by 3.2 percent, road construction - by 0.7 percent, the State Committee said.
Prices for construction of residential houses during the quarter increased by 2.1 percent, construction of social buildings increased in prices by 6.6 percent.
Construction of six-storied and high-rise residential buildings increased in price by 1.8 percent, buildings to five-storey - 5.1 percent. Construction of secondary schools increased in price by 6.9 percent, office buildings - by 6.9 percent.
