ISNA news agency cited Economist's August report stating that GDP rose from $361.2 billion last year to $415.5 billion this year. Next year this figure will rise to $488 billion the report stated. It is believed that in the Iranian calendar year of 1391 (starting March 2012) GDP will reach $580.8 billion. In 1392, it will reach $686 billion and in the following year the figure will be $797 billion according to latest forecast by the Economist magazine. |
