Azerbaijan, Baku, September 27 / Trend A. Akhundov /
The Azerbaijani State Property Committee has put three Sormovsky dry cargo ships up for auction, the committee said.
The starting price of the Shair Vidad ivessel, built in 1976, is set at 107,143 manat, the Khagani Rahimov ship, built in 1978, is set at 96,143 manat, and the Rasul Rza ship, built in 1972 is set at 113,683 manat. The sale prices were set in accordance with the standards of the committee to assess the value of property.
When buying, roughly ten percent of the starting value of the ship must be paid in advance.
The State Committee told Trend that this is the first ships auction it has held.
"Taking into account that this property is a mode of transportation, it is sold through a cash auction," the State Committee said.
The auctions will be conducted at the State Property Committee on Oct. 26.
The auction commission must obtain a document identifying the customer and a document confirming the transfer payment to a bank account indicated by the committee three days before the auction.
