Georgia enters World Wine Trade Group

Georgia has become member of World Wine Trade Group.

InterPressNews has been informed about it by Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia.
The agreement was signed by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Malkhaz Akishbaia in Mendoza, Argentina.

As the Ministry informs, the World Wind Trade Group endeavors to provide better access to international wine markets. According to the agreement, Georgia will not have obstacles in exporting its product to the U.S and Canada markets.

"I want to congratulate all Georgian winemakers with Georgia's integration to this group. This is not only advantaged trade terms with various states, but it is important with respect to attracting investments," Minister of Agriculture Bakur Kvezereli said.

China will become member of the group after Georgia. Participants of the organization are the U.S, Canada, Argentina, Chile, Australia and New Zealand.
