Azerbaijani bank’s loan portfolio increases by roughly 20 percent

DemirBank’s assets as of October 1, 2010 amount 299.6 mln AZN, which exceeds the same indicator of previous year by 48.6 mln AZN or 19.4%. Volume of the loan portfolio also increased by 19.2% and reached 219.7 mln AZN.

DemirBank's assets as of October 1, 2010 amount 299.6 mln AZN, which exceeds the same indicator of previous year by 48.6 mln AZN or 19.4%. Volume of the loan portfolio also increased by 19.2% and reached 219.7 mln AZN.

Total value of customer deposits as of October 1, 2010 is equal to 97.8 mln AZN. Value of population's deposits has reached 80.4 mln AZN, which represents a 27.9% or 17.6 mln AZN increase.

As of October 1, 2010 DemirBank's shareholders capital amounted 19 mln AZN, while total regulatory capital reached 48.8 mln AZN.

One of the first banks of Azerbaijan, DemirBank (formerly called Azerdemiryolbank) started its operations in October 1989. Shareholders of the Banks include large international financial institutions, such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO).
