EBRD discusses prospects of cooperation with Caucasus countries in Georgia

Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Tornike Gordadze met with Gaspard Koeing, EU Relations Manager of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend today.

Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Tornike Gordadze met with Gaspard Koeing, EU Relations Manager of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend today.

The sides outlined EBRD's future plans with respect to Georgia and discussed the existing political and economic situation in the country, including reforms carried out in Georgia and its achievements.

During the meeting, the sides also discussed the prospects and priorities of Georgia's future development, in particular, integration into the EU and current stage of negotiations on association agreement.

Koeing also focused on the prospects of the future cooperation of the EBRD and European Investment Bank (EIB) with the Caucasus region's countries.
