The first bullet train in Turkey will carry out a test run between Ankara and Konya, the TRT Russian reported.
Following the recent launch a high-speed railway line, Turkey is now preparing to initiate a line of bullet trains.
The inaugural run of the trains will be attended by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Dec. 17, with the high-tech bullet trains traveling to Ankara and Konya as part of their initial run, reducing the travel time to only one hour and 15 minutes.
The train's test run will be completed by summer 2011 following which the bullet trains will be officially launched.
