In 2010, the Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry is waiting for investments mainly from Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Minister Vera Kobalia said these two countries are trading partners of Georgia.
However, she noted that business circles of Israel and Iran also show a great interest in Georgia. In addition, the Ministry is actively working with the European Union, Canada and the United States.
Kobalia said the main areas of interest of foreign investors are tourism, agribusiness and the financial sector, but increased interest is observed in the property sector.
