The NGO 'Center for Economic Research' forecasts for 2011 inflation at the level of 11.2 percent in Azerbaijan.
The consumer price index forecasted in January at a rate of 1.3 percent, February - 1.5 percent, March - 1.6 percent, April - 0.5 percent and May - 0.2 percent.
The country is expected to decrease the consumer price index by 0.3 and 0.1 percent in June - July, respectively.
Starting from August, Azerbaijan expects price increases by 0.9 percent in August, one percent - September, 1.2 percent - October, 1.4 percent - November and 1.5 percent - December.
According to the government forecasts, the inflation rate is expected to reach five percent in 2011.
