Georgia mostly exported ferroalloy in 2010, the Georgian National Statistical Service told Trend.
Ferroalloy ranks first in the top 10 commodity groups, the exports of which amounted to $264 million, which is 17 percent of the total exports. Car exports ranked second, which amounted to $227 million, or 14 percent of the total share. Scrap metal ranks third, the exports of which amounted to $109 million, or 6.9 percent of the total exports.
Regarding imports, the largest commodity group in 2010 was oil products, which amounted to $695 million, or 14 percent of the total amount. Cars ranked second with $310 million, or six percent. Medicines ranked third with $188 million, or four percent.
