The number of tourist information centers will be increased in Azerbaijan, said the head of the Tourism Association of Azerbaijan Nahid Bagirov.

"Increasing the number of tourist information centers is important for accessibility of all Azerbaijani tourism companies to those arriving in Azerbaijan," said Bagirov.
According to him, currently there are already three such centers in Baku: one in downtown, and other two - in the northern and southern terminals of International Airport named after Heydar Aliyev.

According to Bagirov, tourist information centers also operate in regions that are mainly of interest to tourists, - in Sheki, Shamakhi, Ganja, Guba, Khachmaz and Zagatala.
"The growth of tourist information centers is important for the development of services in this regard, as well as improvement of the country's accessibility for tourists," said Bagirov.
