According to experts' analysis, in Kyrgyzstan 20-30 percent price increase for 19 basic foodstuffs is expected, Minister of Agriculture Torogul Bekov said at today's session of the Parliament, 24.kg reported.
According to him, global tendencies effect on the price boost in the republic. At the same time a number of deputies mentioned that imported foods' quality leaves much to be desired. "We all remember the event when imported chicken legs, Chinese flour, and Indian meat were of low quality. We shall strengthen control over imported products," said deputy of Respublica faction Nurbek Alimbekov.
