Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 23 / Trend A. Maratov /
The Finance Ministry must improve the population's financial literacy within the People's IPO Project, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov told Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev.
"It is necessary to work and conduct financial literacy among the population, as we can make an excellent program. But if the end-user - the population - will not understand what we mean, our program will not be effective," Massimov said.
According to minister, at present, preparatory work is underway to place the shares of national companies on the domestic stock market.
"Today we have an opportunity to place the shares of KazMunaiGas," Zhamishev said.
