Living-wage amount hits $105 in February in Kazakhstan

The living-wage amount in February amounted to 15,338 tenge or about $105 in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh State Statistics Agency said.
"The living-wage amount on average per capita, calculated based on minimum standards of basic foodstuff consumption, increased by 4.7 percent in February compared to the previous month, and 23.3 percent compared to last February," the agency said.
In its structure, the share of the costs for meat and fish comprises 19.3 percent, milk, fat products and eggs - 16.1 percent, fruit and vegetables - 13.7 percent, bread and cereal products - 8.1 percent, and sugar, tea and spices - 2.8 percent, the agency said.
