The Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry's National Entrepreneurship Support Fund started to receive investment projects in priority areas in the Sheki region from entrepreneurs on Friday, the ministry said.
An event on state support for entrepreneurial development in the regions was held in Sheki on Feb. 25 in accordance with the state socioeconomic regional development program in 2009-2013, which was earlier approved by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on April 14, 2009.
The following areas are planned to be financed:
- Creation of a modern bread factory with a production capacity of 10 tons per day;
- Creation of poultry farms with an annual production capacity of 6,000 tons of meat.
