Georgia develops plan for agrarian sector development

Prime Minister Nika Gilauri said a state plan for the agricultural sector development will be presented in a six weeks.

Prime Minister Nika Gilauri said a state plan for the agricultural sector development will be presented in a six weeks.

Experts and regional governors will participate in the Georgian State Agrarian Commission's work to develop a plan.

Gilauri instructed Agriculture Minister Bakura Kvezereli to submit a list of experts, who will work at the commission.

The commission's priorities will be to assist the development of agriculture and help the rural population.

Some 150 million lari (1.70 is $1) will be allocated in addition to 69 million lari allocated from the Georgian state budget for the development of agriculture.
